Setting up 1,000-bed hospital in 9 days huge success: Chohan

Punjab Information Minister Fayaz-ul-Hasan Chohan on Thursday said that Punjab government has been taking measures against deadly respiratory virus COVID-19 on war-footing.

He said that building a 1000-bedded hospital in just nine days at the International Expo Center Lahore was a huge success.

“An economic package has been launched in all provinces for all coronavirus affected sectors while the provincial government is ensuring access to essential items even in the partial lockdown conditions.”

The minister said that CM Sardar Usman Bazdar has been taking administrative decisions on a daily basis according to the changing circumstances.

He vowed that God-forbidden if the outbreak escalates, the incumbent PTI government would fight with all its force and measures.

He requested people to stay at homes and maintain social distances.
