PM Imran changes strategy; directs PTI MNAs to vote against no-trust motion

April 2, 2022 05:24 PM

Changing the previous strategy under which Prime Minister Imran Khan had asked his members of the National Assembly (MNAs) not to go to the assembly on the day of voting on the no-confidence motion, the prime minister on Saturday directed the PTI MNAs to go and vote against the motion, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Quoting sources, the channel reported that the prime minister himself was expected to visit the NA tomorrow (Sunday, April 3, 2022).

Earlier, the ruling party MNAs had been conveyed in writing that if they attended the NA session, section 63-A of the constitution would be invoked against them.
