Islamabad Police put on high alert

The police in Islamabad have all of a sudden put on a high alert, reported 24NewsHD TV channel, quoting sources.

Sources in the police said all the policemen have been directed to report to their respective police stations.

DIG Operations Saturday issued stern messages for police personnel in Islamabad. 

SHOs of all police stations have been directed to remain in their respective areas. 

They are directed to sleep in their respective police stations. “SHOs will take permission from the DIG before leaving their area for any essential work.”

 All cops have been ordered to sleep in their respective police stations after duty. 

All police stations will get Biometric Machine orders from Police Line Headquarters. The biometric system should be connected to CCTV cameras of police stations. CCTV cameras will be monitored around the clock. 

These orders are for CIACTD Special Branch, Eagle Squad, and Rescue One Five including all Police Stations. 

The DIG further ordered that all SHOs will be responsible for briefing the force and keeping the force present. He issued directions to all SHOs that they will be responsible for implementing these orders. 

Police control will take attendance of all SHOs daily at 7 pm. Attendance will be by wireless and a report will be sent to DIG.
