Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur held a detailed meeting with PTI founder Imran Khan in Adiala Jail’s conference room in Rawalpindi on Wednesday, reported 24NewsHDTV Channel.
Before Gandapaur, Barrister Saif, spokesperson of the KP government, held a separate meeting with Imran Khan.
According to sources, KP Chief Minister has succeed to win the trust of PTI founder to run the provincial government in his own way. And once again Gandapur has bagged the trust of PTI chief as Imran Khan assured Gandapur that KP government was in the hands of his most-trusted party worker.
Gandapur briefed Imran Khan that KP government was offering facilities and services to the people of the province in accordance with Riyasat-e-Madina.
Sources said it was agreed that riots groups within the country or working from the abroad will not be allowed to create propaganda against Gandapur government.
Imran Khan lauded the annual performance report of KP government. As with limited resources and shortage of funds from the Centre, KP government started bests uplift projects.
In war against terror, KP government was following the policy of PTI founder and it was agreed that instead of use of force against terrorism, it was agreed that dialogue option should be adopted.
During the meeting, Gandapur also taken Imran Khan into confidence regarding Afghan national’s repatriation policy.
Baber Saleem Swati’s issue was termed the personal matter of KP government and Imran Khan asked Gandapur to resolve the issue personally.
On the occasion, KP Chief Minister congratulated Imran Khan on Edi-ul Fitr and briefed PTI founder as well as obtained guidance on various issues.
During the meeting, Gandapur succeeded to convince Imran Khan not to use hard language against Establishment as Gandapur assured Imran Khan that he would continue demand of his release from the jail. Barrister Said also persuaded Imran Khan to start talks with the establishment.
The meeting lasted for about two and a half hours.
According to sources, Bushra Bibi was not present in the meeting. Imran Khan also issued various instructions to the Chief Minister. The strict security arrangements were made around the Adiala Jail and additional personnel were deployed outside the jail.
