Afghan team arrives in Pakistan to probe envoy’s daughter abduction: Sh Rasheed

Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed said that an investigative team from Afghan stain has arrived in Pakistan to probe the alleged abduction of Afghan envoy’s daughter, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
He said that Pakistan has completed the investigation of the alleged abduction of the daughter of Afghanistan Ambassador to Pakistan.
He was addressing a media briefing in Islamabad on Monday.
Sheikh Rasheed says Pakistan will inform the Afghan team from Kabul about the investigation of the incident occurred with the daughter of the Afghan ambassador. “If the Afghan team wants, it can also hold meetings with the taxi drivers in which the ambassador's daughter had travelled.” It is pertinent to note that a four-member team from Kabul has arrived in Islamabad on Sunday.
Sheikh Rasheed said that a meeting has been called on coming Thursday for the finalization of security in the month of Muharram Ul Haram.
He revealed, “Laal Haveli was under attack twice in one week and police are now investigating it.”
Talking about the Noor Mukaddam case, the minister said that the accused's father and driver have also been held. “Now, I could not let him be killed in a police encounter,” he said.
“I am hopeful the alleged killer will get a death penalty,” he said.
The interior minister said the authorities have decided to demolish the illegal constructions around the Nullahs.
The minister said that Pakistan will mark August 5th as a day to show solidarity with the people of Occupied Kashmir.
He said that Prime Minister Imran Khan has no threats from the PMLN and PPP.
