Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Gulzar Ahmad on Monday approved an increase in the utility allowances of the Supreme Court (SC) employees, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
SC Registrar has issued a notification in this connection.
The allowance of SC employees from grade 1-6 has been increased from Rs4, 500 to Rs6, 000, while that of employees from grade 7-10, from Rs6, 000 to Rs8, 000, the allowance of staffers from grade 11-15, from Rs6, 000 to Rs12, 000 while the allowance of employees from grade 16-22 has been doubled.
An increase in the utility allowances of SC employees will be applicable from March 1, 2021.
