Held lawmaker Nazir Chohan Sunday recorded his video of apology and sent it to Prime Minister’s aide Shahzad Akbar and in response received softness in the official policy against him.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, detained member provincial assembly of Punjab (MPA) Nazir Chohan made direct contact to Special Advisor to Prime Minister (SAPM) Shahzad Akbar on a telephone and apologized on his statement.
Later, he also sent a recorded video clip of his apology to Shahzad Akbar that was rejected. On this, he recorded another video clip of the apology and sent it to him that was accepted.
Nazir Chohan told Shahzad Akbar that he apologized for his statement in which he called him Qadiyani. He did only not apologize to Shahzad Akbar but his family too.
Punjab Minister for Jail Fiazul Hassan Chohan played a special role in a compromise between the detained MPA and the SAPM. He was also a guarantor in the agreement between the MPA and the SAPM.
Chohan was jailed on a 14 days judicial remand and shifted to Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) on last Saturday, July 31, 2021, after receiving heart pain.
