The core committee of the newly emerging political party in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Parliamentarians (PTI-P) elected Pervaiz Khan Khattak as Chairman and Mehmood Khan as Vice Chairman.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the core committee of the PTI-P was held at the new office of the party in Peshawar on Tuesday and elected the chairman and the vice chairman.
The party also nominated Ziaullah Khan Bangash as Information Secretary.
After the meeting, Pervaiz Khattak talked to the media and announced that in the upcoming elections, PTI-P will field its candidates from all constituencies.
He said they were starting public relations campaign to be prepared workers for the elections by organizing the first rally in Nowshera on August 19.
Khattak said public meetings will also be held in Mansehra, Kohat, DI Khan, Swat, Kohistan, Hangu, Peshawar, Mardan, Buner, and Abbottabad.
He said the doors of the PTI-P were open to everyone to join his party and they will work together with the state institutions for peace, development and prosperity.
Mehmood Khan said they want peace in this country and especially in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
Today, Pervaiz Khattak, the former minister and close aide of Imran Khan Niazi opened the central office of the party in Peshawar and presided over the first core committee members' meeting to discuss the party infrastructure and other political issues like upcoming general elections strategy.
The channel reported that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) of Imran Khan also lost two more wickets on Tuesday as two more ideological leaders joined the Pervez Khattak group's new party, the PTI-P.
As per the report, PTI's Core Committee Member Asrar Bacha who was also serving as Provincial Information Secretary and former candidate from Tehsil Shah Alam Riaz Khan joined Parvez Khattak's group.
