Prime Minister Imran Khan, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser, Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Ch Shujat Hussain, Sindh Governor Imran Ismail, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and other notables grieved over the death of former prime minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali on Wednesday.
In their separate messages, they prayed for the departed soul. They offered their condolences to the family in this moment of grief.
In a tweet, Prime Minister Imran Khan wrote, “Saddened to hear of the passing of Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali. My condolences and prayers go to his family.”

Taking to twitter, the DG ISPR said, “General Qamar Javed Bajwa, COAS, expresses heartfelt condolences on the sad demise of former Prime Minister of Pakistan Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali. May Allah bless his soul & give strength to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss, Ameen.”

Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that he was in shock after hearing the news. He said Jamali was a seasoned, polite and competent politician. He prayed for the departed soul. He also extended condolence to the Jamali’s family.
Former prime minister Ch Shujat Hussain, Punjab Assembly Speaker Ch Parvez Elahi, MNA Moonis Elahi and MNA Saalik Hussain grieved over the death of Jamali. In a joint statement, Ch brothers said that they had an old relation with Jamali. They said they had spent very good time with the former prime minister. They said that his services for the democracy in Pakistan would be remembered.
