The Ministry of Health has ordered an inquiry into deaths of three patients at Federal Government Polyclinic Hospital in Islamabad, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
The Ministry of Health ordered the hospital administration to immediately conduct an inquiry today and submit a report.
According to hospital sources, all three patients died during surgery due to use of substandard anaesthesia.
They said that the hospital's operation theatre has been closed since the deaths occurred because surgeons refused to perform operations as anaesthesia was not fit for use.
Earlier, a federal ombudsman team had also expressed anger over the mismanagement by the hospital administration.
