Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) vice president and lawyer Sher Afzal Khan Marwat Friday reiterated the party’s commitment to the progress and development of the nation, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.

In a PTI convention held at Takhat Bhai, Afzal Marwat emphasized the necessity of holding regular elections accordance with the constitution.

“Timely and constitutional elections are imperative for a thriving democracy,” he hinted.

PTI vice president said regardless of the challenges faced, the people and workers of PTI remain resilient and united in their pursuit of a better Pakistan.

He said that the KP province, under the leadership of "Imran Khan," is weathering the storm with determination, emphasizing the resilience of its people.

“PTI remains dedicated to championing democratic values and advocating for the welfare of its citizens,” he vowed.

Acknowledging the sacrifices made by the nation's martyrs for its survival and well-being, the PTI leader paid homage to those who have given their lives for the country.

The PTI leader also expressed concern over the Election Commission's restrictions on PTI for holding rallies, conventions, and public meetings.  He considered such actions as an impediment to the democratic process despite the official announcement of elections.

He asserted hindering PTI workers' conventions reflects an unjust curtailment of their democratic rights.

Furthermore, the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) is accused by PTI of presenting the youth, and the public at large, with unemployment, poverty, and insecurity.

Sher Marwat lamented that Nawaz Sharif was being imposed over the general masses unlawfully.
