The Punjab government has started the registration of electric vehicles that are environmentally friendly on Wednesday.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, as many as 25 electric vehicles have been registered in the first two days across the province.

The government has offered a 95 per cent discount on the registration fee and a 75 per cent discount on the token tax of the vehicles.
