The Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) has announced a gradual increase in its domestic production of oil and gas from the Dars West well in Sindh, reported 24NewsHD TV channel Thursday.
According to the spokesperson of OGDCL, the well has started producing 350 barrels of crude oil per day, along with 2 to 8 million cubic feet of gas per day and 2 to 20 metric tons per day of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).

The spokesperson said that the new additional production will significantly reduce the annual domestic import bill by about US$ 50 million and contribute to the energy security of the country.
The spokesperson added that OGDCL is committed to exploring and developing new hydrocarbon resources for the benefit of the nation.
