A man has beaten woman black and blue for jumping a line at a filling station in Karachi on Friday, the CCTV footage of the incident went viral on social media, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Police said the victim woman filed an application for registration of a criminal case against the accused.
The incident was reported from Gulshan-e-Iqbal area of the megacity.
The man who drove into the petrol pump to get his car tank filled was waiting in line when a female car-driver appeared on the spot, jumped the line and went ahead of the waiting commuters.
The male driver first tried to convince her to wait for her turn but when the woman did not pay any heed to him, the man flew in rage and started slapping her.
The passersby intervened and stopped the man for beating the woman.
Police has registered the case and started an investigation into the indent.
