Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) Sunday arrested three terrorists during a major operation against a banned organization in Balochistan.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, the CTD Balochistan forces launched a search operation against a banned outfit in Dera Murad Jamali.

In the area of Pat Feeder Canal, the law enforcement officials succeeded to arrest three terrorists who were about to carry out a major terror attack in the area.

The arrested terrorists were going to Dera Murad Jamali from Banbhore in a passenger vehicle. Law enforcement agency has also recovered a large number of explosives from the arrested terrorists.

Among the items recovered were 2.4 kilograms of explosives, prima card, net bolt and cash. A case has been registered against them at CTD Naseerabad police station.

The CTD said that all three arrested terrorists were taken to an unknown location for investigations.
