The employees of the Mehrabpur town committee have taken out a symbolic funeral of the town officer due to non-payment of their salaries, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Monday. 

The town employees of Mehrabpur, a city in the Naushahro Firoz district in Sindh adopted different ways to register their protest against the Town Officer Yusuf Sheikh for not releasing their 3-month salaries. 

They spread filth in the town office, besides hanging a dead animal on the office door of Town Officer Mehrabpur.

They also patrolled the whole city with the symbolic funeral of the town officer. They kept raising slogans and thrashing shoes on the symbolic corpse of the Town Officer. They were of the view their children are forced to starve due to non-payment of their salaries.
