Fog badly disrupts flight operation at Islamabad Airport

The flight operation at Islamabad International Airport has been disrupted badly due to dense fog engulfing twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi today which has reduced the visibility level to dangerously low, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.


According to the spokesperson for the Pakistan International Airlines, several domestic and international flights are facing delay due to foggy conditions at the airport.


He said that the Sharjah-Islamabad Flight PK 182 has been landed in Peshawar.


There is a delay in departure of flights from Islamabad to Gilgit, Bahrain, London, Dammam, Dubai, and Istanbul.


The spokesperson said that passengers must contact their airlines before heading to the airport.
