The ground floor of the Punjab Institute of Cardiology’s (PIC) emergency ward will soon be opened for patients as around 99 per cent work on the ward’s upgradation is complete thanks to constant monitoring done by Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Syed Mohsin Naqvi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
CM Naqvi on Tuesday visited the institute’s emergency ward and had a detailed view of the work done so far.
He, on the occasion, gave instructions for improving the quality of doors and tiles.
The chief minister also checked the quality of beds.
He ordered early start to work on the lab collection center near main entrance to the ward.
He announced that after opening of the upgraded ward, other wards of the hospital would undergo renovation too.
Provincial Minister for Information Amir Mir, secretary construction and communication and other concerned officials were also present on the occasion.
