UHS issues first BDS selection list

University of Health Sciences (UHS) Lahore has released the first selection list for admission to the government dental colleges of Punjab.

According to the UHS spokesperson, UHS Lahore released the merit list on its website, www.uhs.edu.pk.

He said that the first (college-wise) selection list for admission to Public Sector Dental Colleges in Punjab is prepared based on the updated final merit list dated December 14, 2023.

As per Clause B(6)(iv) of Prospectus, Session 2023-24, all those candidates already admitted to MBBS and have joined or did not join their respective medical colleges have been excluded from the selection list of BDS.

 Successfully selected candidates must access their fee challan through their existing accounts on the Admission Application Portal at https//public.uhs.edu.pk/.

The selected candidates are required to submit the college fee at the nearest branch of the Bank of Punjab (BOP) within three working days, specifically by the due date of Friday, January 05, 2024.

There are 189 open merit BDS seats in three government dental colleges of Punjab

According to data, BDS minimum merit on open merit was 91.0955% for Session 2023-24.  

The highest merit was 91.1318 percent of de Montmorency College of Dentistry, Lahore.

The minimum merit of Dental Institute Punjab Medical College Faisalabad remained 91.0909%.

The merit of Nishtar Institute of Dentistry Multan is 91.0955%.

Selection lists for overseas Pakistanis, backward districts, and special seats for special children are also released.

All the selection lists can be viewed on the UHS website.

The fee challans can be downloaded from the UHS online application portal.

The second selection list of government dental colleges will be released on January 9, the spokesman concluded.
