Shahzad Qasim appointed special assistant to PM on Power Division

Shahzad Syed Qasim has been appointed special assistant to prime minister on Power Division.

According to a notification issued in Islamabad on Thursday evening, Shahzad has been given additional charge of the post and he would have powers of a state minister.

Two days earlier, the federal government set up a four-member committee led by Shahzad to investigate the fuel crisis, which hit the country in recent days. The committee will submit its inquiry report to the prime minister by July 10.
