Interpol Pakistan has arrested the man wanted by Sialkot police in connection with the case of attempted murder in Muscat, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
The Interpol, on police’s request, had issued a red warrant for his arrest.
Later, the Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) immigration staff handed over Rizwan to Sialkot Police.
FIA arrests man for travelling with fake documents:
On the other hand, the FIA’s immigration personnel deputed at Lahore airport have arrested a man, who was about to board a flight to Hungary on fake documents.
Spokesman for the Agency has told media that Shahid Ali planned to travel to Hungary for higher education. “But when the FIA staff checked his passport, they found out stamp of a fake visa pasted on it.
“Initial investigation has revealed that the suspect’s brother-in-law had got the passport in lieu of Rs2 million,” the spokesman said, adding, “Shahid has been shifted to anti-human trafficking circle while the hunt for the agent has begun.
