Robbers in Shikarpur, without showing any respect for an individual’s dignity, stripped some persons naked besides robbing them of their valuables, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
Police said Mazda drivers, who were transporting vegetables from Khuzdar to Sukkur’s market, fell victim to the robbers who had set up a picket on Shikarpur to Larkana Road.
The drivers said that the dacoits signaled them to stop, made them get out of their vehicles, stripped them naked and then snatched documents of their cars, driving licenses, cellphones and cash from them.
The drivers further said the robbers also took away their clothes with them.
One of the victims Muhammad Sadiq said that the dacoits looted them right in front of the police, which acted like a mute spectator.
The drivers appealed to the Sindh government to ensure the return of their valuables.
