Punjab Assembly Speaker Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi on Tuesday issued production orders of the Opposition leader in Punjab Assembly and Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz leader Hamza Shahbaz.

The production orders were issued for the session to be started from June 5. Hamza Shahbaz is under arrest in the Ramzan Sugar Mills.   

The session has tremendous importance because treasury benches will be presenting the budget for the next fiscal 2020-21. 

It is pertinent to note that this session will be held in a private hotel to stem the further spread of the deadly novel coronavirus.

It will be the first time in provincial assembly’s history that a session will be held in other than the Assembly’s building while arrangements to hold the PA session at the hotel located on Egerton Road have been started.
