An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Thursday sent 25 PTI workers to jail on six-day judicial remand for identification parade in cases registered under Anti-Terrorism Act for attacking and torching Corps Commander House in Lahore on May 9.
On Tuesday, another 260 suspects in the May 9 attack on Jinnah House were identified by the investigator. The suspects were traced from the WhatsApp groups of those already detained since the arson attack during protest against the arrest of former prime minister Imran Khan.
The police collected videos and messages shared in the groups and through them identified more suspects in the incident. The authorities had initially focused on compiling a list of suspects using mobile phone locations through geo-fencing and identification from the videos and photos of the incident.
