The Utility Stores Corporation (USC) has jacked up the prices of various food items at its stores, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
According to details, the prices of jam, honey, pickles, chicken spread, mayonnaise, ketchup and other items have been increased by the government after which the rate of 450 grams of jam was increased by Rs74.
The price of 500 grams of honey was increased by up to 101 rupees.
The price of 1kg chicken spread was increased by Rs190; whereas, the price of 1kg mayonnaise was hiked by up to Rs100 and the price of 800 grams of ketchup by Rs79.
Moreover, the rate of 1Kg pickle was increased by up to Rs80 at utility stores.
The price of Joshanda was rose by Rs3 and Ispaghol by Rs30.
The rates of Arak and syrup were hiked by Rs20 to Rs40 each.
The new rates were enforced immediately at all utility stores branches.
