Janhvi Kapoor has opened up about being clicked by the paps at airport and outside gym and tells why she requested them to not click her in tight outfits.

The paparazzi culture is a huge thing in Bollywood at the moment, and celebrities are captured by the shutterbugs every day as they step out in and around the city.

Talking about the same with Lallantop, Janhvi Ka shared that she has requested paps not to come outside her gym and click her in tight-fitting clothes.

In Janhvi's words:

"Main nahi chahti hoon wo log mujhe gym ke tight kapdo mein dekhe. Aur jab wo photos aate the bahar to bolte the ki jaan boojh kar ye tight kapde pehen kar dikhna chah rahi hai. So the best thing is do not click me. I never asked them to come outside my gym."

The ‘Mr and Mrs Mahi’ star further shared that she only calls the paparazzi to click her during her film promotions. But, on days when she is not shooting, she likes to stay low-key and doesn't want to be clicked. However, the paparazzi have their car number memorised and still follow them even when not called. In her words:

“Lekin jab film ki promotion nahi ho rahi hai, jab shoot mein nahi jaari hoon, jab gayab hona chahti hoon, tab woh, agar woh extra effort loge, toh woh aap nahi dekhoge. Aisa kahi baar hua hai ki ya toh woh aapke gaadi ko follow karte hai, kyunki har picture ka, har image ka unhe paisa milta hai.”

In a thought-provoking conversation with Lallantop, Janhvi Kapoor shared her unique insights on the pervasive culture of paparazzi, a reality that celebrities like her face daily. She shed light on the fact that every celebrity in the film industry operates on a specific rate card, dictating the value of their pictures in the online market. Janhvi even drew a striking comparison, likening the paparazzi to a ration card for celebrities.

The actress  also has a bittersweet relationship with the shutterbugs, and on numerous occasions, she has requested them not to click her pictures from inappropriate angles. Even though, Janhvi has always behaved well with the paparazzi, she is quite stern with them and has instructed them to click pictures responsibly.
