Tablighi Jamaat delegation thanks Parvez Elahi for his help in difficult times

A Tablighi Jamaat delegation from Raiwind called on Punjab Assembly (PA) Speaker Chaudhry Parvez Elahi and expressed gratitude to him for always extending a helping hand to the Jamaat whenever it faced problems either due to coronavirus or international restrictions, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Maulana Ubaidullah, a central Tablighi Jamaat leader, informed the PA speaker that they had been sent by the Raiwind Markaz to acknowledge his efforts for clearing all obstacles in way of the Jamaat and side by it at national and international forums.

Members of the delegation also prayed for the early recovery of the Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain.

On the occasion, the PA speaker congratulated the nation over the inclusion of the ‘Khatm-e-Nubuwwat’ oath in ‘Nikah Nama’ and added that the bill for including the Finality of Prophethood oath in the marriage contract was passed by the Punjab Assembly.

“It was later approved by the Punjab cabinet, and we are thankful to God for that as all this became possible only with His grace,” he added.

The members of the delegation appreciated the steps taken by the Punjab Assembly under the leadership of Chaudhry Parvez Elahi and said that scholars and the government must work together for the development of the country.

Maulana Ubaidullah, Maulana Amir, Mian Ahsan, Awais, Ayub Sadiq, Naeem Butt, Imtiaz Ghani, Anwaar Ghani, and Aftab Ghani were part of the delegation.

Rasikh Elahi and Provincial Minister Hafiz Ammar Yasir were also present in the meeting.
