Pakistan Wednesday prepared a plan of action on the Russia-Ukraine conflict and conveyed its position to Representative to the United Nations Munir Akram on the matter.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, Prime Minister Imran Khan chaired a top brass consultative meeting in Islamabad on Wednesday.
Chief of the Army Staff General Qamar Bajwa, chiefs of the Pakistan Air Force and Navy, National Security Advisor Moeed Yusuf and Federal Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry attended the meeting.
The sources said the meeting discussed the Ukraine-Russia conflict and made a consultation about Pakistan's position on the issue.
The sources said a plan of action has also been drawn up with reference to the UN General Assembly and Pakistan's Permanent Representative to the United Nations Munir Akram was briefed on Pakistan's position and strategy.
