Rain has threatened to disrupt two matches of Pakistan Super League 9 (PSL9) to be played at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium today, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
In the first match, Lahore Qalandars will take on Peshawar Zalmi at 2:00 pm in the afternoon while in the second match, Islamabad United will clash with Quetta Gladiator at 7:00 pm.
However, there are fears that the rain will disrupt both the counters as the Met Office have forecast rain for the twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
Due to heavy rain on Friday, no team carried out any practice session in Rawalpindi.
In the last PSL match, Quetta Gladiators have defeated Karachi Kings by one wicket. Batting first, Karachi Kings set a victory target of 166 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in allotted 20 overs.
In reply, Quetta Gladiators achieved their target in 20 overs for the loss of five wickets.
