A joint team of Punjab Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) and police on Tuesday conducted raid to arrest former Punjab chief minister Usman Buzdar in Lahore, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.
However, the team failed till filing this report to arrest Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf leader Usman Buzdar from his temporary residence located at Punjab University’s colony in Lahore.
The former chief minister and his brothers are wanted by ACE over the matter of the illegal transfer of state-owned 900 kanals of land.
A couple of months ago, the team also raided Usman Buzdar and his brothers’ houses in Dera Ghazi Khan and Taunsa Sharif but remained unsuccessful to capture them.
