Pakistan wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan has paid tribute to the ex-skipper of the Afghanistan national team, Asghar Afghan.

“Asghar Afghan is indeed one of those few cricketers who played a key role for Afghanistan team. He along with @MohammadNabi, Nawroz Mangal and others started something gigantic for cricket in the country. More power to you my brother. Lots of prayers for your second innings.”

The former Afghan skipper announced his retirement after playing his last match on Sunday. On his last dismissal, he scored rapid 31 runs. Moreover, Asghar received a guard of honour from Namibian players.
