Uniforms have been made mandatory for the officials of the Punjab Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) across Punjab, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.  

According to the notification, directions have been issued to the employees of the department to wear uniforms.  Officials including constables, inspectors, and officers will be required to wear uniforms when on duty, the notification said.  The insiders said that step is being taken to end the practice of conmen impersonating anti-corruption officials to harass people. They said that ACE will emerge as an organized force due to uniforms. They further said that reforms in the organization along modern lines are inevitable.
