The ongoing Pakistani drama serial ‘Razia’ featuring the popular Lollywood diva Mahira Khan, is based on a mind-blowing storyline that offers strong punches to the patriarchal barriers and norms of the society which have always dragged a woman into a lot of suffering.

Razia features the story of a young girl who is maltreated by her parents and society just because she is a girl.

In the latest episode of the show ‘Kya Drama Hai’ (Season 3) with Mukarram Kaleem as host, the panel of judges including versatile Pakistani actresses Marina Khan, Nadia Khan, and Rubina Ashraf discussed the last episode of ‘Razia’ and praised it for Razia’s resilience.

Mahira’s fans enjoyed her narration throughout the drama as well as loved the acting of the other cast members.

The judges highlighted the importance and respect of daughters in reality which was also shown in the drama serial.

Actress Nadia Khan said Razia had everything except courage which came into her life through her daughter as daughters are always ‘Rehmat’.

She come up with freedom and courage which was not present before in Razia.

“If it was a son he would never do that… his punishment had to be longer, he had to be beaten so much, he had to be humiliated so much for the rest of her life”, said Nadia Khan.

Talking about the ending of the drama serial, actress and judge Marina Khan expressed her happiness saying Razia is a masterpiece. It has broken all the records until now as it got a 9.5 rating on IMDP, (a platform that shows drama ratings).

She took the banners with thumbs-up emoticons in her both hands and said “I wish I could have more thumbs up for Razia.”

While praising the story, Marina Khan ran short of thumbs up while ranking as it deserved more but still she managed to do it.

Laughingly she showed her both foot and hands saying “Ye Bhi… Ye Bhi… Ye Bhi… Ye Bhi.”

Razia had so much to offer right from the beginning but the way it ended made it a piece of art that will be remembered for a long time.

Razia, the character, left a lasting impression throughout. Her resilience and steadfastness right till the end sent a strong message to all the Razias out there who feel that there is no way out for them.
