Caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi has inaugurated the Ibn Sina Reading Room and cafeteria in connection with the upgradation of the King Edward Medical University (KEMU) plan on Sunday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the upgraded reading room and cafeteria with the members of the Punjab cabinet.
On the occasion, the Chief Minister and provincial ministers also reviewed the facilities provided in the reading room and cafeteria and checked the quality of food and drinks in the cafeteria.
Mohsin Naqvi went to the cafeteria kitchen and observed the process of food preparation.
The Chief Minister and the Provincial Ministers met the doctors in the cafeteria and reading room and inquired about the facilities from the doctors.
The doctors thanked the Chief Minister for the upgradation of the reading room, cafeteria
He congratulated the students on the new reading room and Cafeteria.
When I visited a few months ago, the condition of the cafeteria was worse, said Mohsen Naqvi.
He said the air condition of the reading room was out of order and dusty.
The reading room has become of international standard and now it is your responsibility to take care of this reading room, said Mohsen Naqvi.
He said that he would be really happy when the entire Mayo Hospital would be upgraded and hoped that Mayo Hospital would be upgraded by January 31.
The CM said that the hospital administration will take ownership of the upgrade work and the work will be completed soon.
I go to every floor and review the progress of the ongoing work, said Chief Minister Punjab.
The Out Door of Mayo Hospital will also be made new, said CM Mohsin Naqvi
Mohsen Naqvi said that the government will provide all the required funds for the upgradation of the hospital.
There is no doctor for the intensive care unit of the emergency but we have to bring doctors, even if we have to bring them from abroad, Mohsen Naqvi said
