As the cricket fervor grips the nation ahead of the Asia Cup clash between Pakistan and India, hair salons surrounding the iconic Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad are adding to the excitement in a unique way. In a show of patriotic support and celebration of the game, they're offering complimentary haircuts and facials to anyone chanting patriotic slogans, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

"Chant 'Pakistan Zindabad' or 'National Cricket Team Zindabad' and step in for a free cutting facial," shared a banner outside a prominent salon. This gesture is not just a marketing strategy but signifies the unity and passion of the local community towards their national team, especially when the stakes are high against arch-rivals India.

Local residents have been particularly elated, quoting the performances of star players like Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi, Iftikhar, and Muhammad Rizwan, believing that the team's current form is an assurance of a victory against India.

Several salon owners echoed the same sentiment, stressing that there's nothing more important than their country. "We believe in our team, and this is our unique way of showing support. Let the world see how Faisalabad backs its heroes," remarked a salon owner. There's even talk of a significant announcement coming from these establishments should the Pakistan team secure a victory.

While the salons' offers have drawn attention and smiles, the nation eagerly awaits the outcome of the high-stakes match, hopeful for a memorable performance by the Pakistani cricket team.
