No property, professional taxes in Punjab for three months

In an attempt to provide relief to the people, the Punjab government on Friday announced that it would not collect property and professional taxes for three months.

In this connection, Punjab Excise and Taxation Minister Hafiz Mumtaz said the people would not have to pay property and professional taxes for the months of April, May and June, resulting in Rs3.30 billion revenue collection.

He said the Punjab government had provided a big relief to the people during a very difficult period and promised to win the war against coronavirus with the help of citizens.

Mumtaz said Chief Minister Usman Buzdar, the provincial ministers and lawmakers were standing by the people, as he stressed the need for ensuring social distancing.
