Outrage as video showing chickens being thrown, buried alive goes viral

A video of some people dumping a truckload of chickens in a well in a Vehari area has gone viral on the social media.
The chicken breeding company dumped thousands of living chickens in the well and then buried them alive reportedly because the chicken meat rate has gone drastically down amid the global coronavirus pandemic.
The act of the company also brought into question the prime minister’s chicken farming scheme. However, the company’s manager refused to comment on this cruel act of his staff. According to people of the area, currently a newborn chicken is selling for Re1 each. They said there was only chicken shed in the area.
