The 43rd death anniversary of the former Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto to be observed tomorrow (Monday), across the country, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
The former prime minister laid the foundation of a new era in Pakistan's political arena. The era of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto is a bright chapter for the beloved homeland.
When Pakistan's political arena was tinged with dictatorship, Zulfikar Ali Bhutto founded the PPP in 1967 and declared war on it.
Bhutto not only envisioned the distribution of wealth but also won the hearts of the poor by giving the workers the formula of distribution of bread, cloth, house and profit.
Bhutto further added his achievements by giving a constitution to the troubled and dictatorial country and giving new life to Pakistani democracy.
Bhutto rejected the threat of US Secretary of State Henry Kissinger and made national defence invincible through nuclear capability.
Bhutto laid the foundation for new relations with Muslim nations by holding the Summit Conference of Islamic countries of the world in Lahore.
