Takes another step to facilitate driving licence applicants

Chief Minister of Punjab Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi presided over a meeting to review the renovation, decoration, and restoration project for Badshahi Mosque, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

Moreover, the affairs of the Walled City of Lahore Authority (WLCA) were also reviewed during the meeting.

It was decided that the restoration project of the Badshahi Mosque will be completed with the cooperation of the WLCA, Aga Khan Foundation and other institutions.

Furthermore, it was proposed that the WCLA will renovate Shalimar Bagh, Jahangir and Noor Jahan tombs as well. 

The chief minister said the Badshahi Masjid, along with other parts of the mosque, will be renovated and decorated because it has become the identity of Lahore. 

He also vowed to ensure the provision of funds for the renovation of the cultural heritage. 

CM Naqvi’s takes another step to facilitate driving license applicants

In yet another step taken to facilitate the citizens of Pakistan by CM Mohsin Naqvi, millions of ID holders from other districts and provinces will now be able to avail license facilities from Lahore. The facility to obtain a license from Lahore has been extended to foreigners as well. 

Prior to this, only Lahore ID holders were permitted to get a license from Lahore.

Applicants for learner permit can visit any license center with citizen ID card and a valid ID.

Moreover, after 42 days of learner permit, sign and road test will be taken for obtaining permanent license.

In this regard, Liberty Market and Manawan Center will remain open 24/7 for the convenience the citizens.

Services for obtaining a license are available from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm at Arfah Karim Testing Center, Greater Iqbal, Defense Center, and Bahria Town.

According to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), the city has now three mobile vans, 23 license centers and six testing centers.
