Punjab Chief Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi on Monday reprimanded Kasur Deputy Commissioner and suspended the assistant commissioner for making poor arrangements for the distribution of free wheat flour to deserving people.
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, Syed Mohsin Naqvi conducted a surprise visit to Kasur after Nankana and found a flour distribution center established in a marriage hall closed before the stipulated time.
The staff was sitting inside and engaged in other work instead of delivering free supply to the masses.
Mohsin Naqvi was unhappy over the early closure of the flour distribution center.
The staff could not answer questions of CM regarding the closure of the center.
He immediately directed to issue a warning to Deputy Commissioner and suspended assistant commissioner City Rizwan Ul Haq.
Mohsin Naqvi said that the early closure of the flour distribution center is very unfortunate. There are 20 minutes to 4 o'clock now, so why is the center closed earlier?
Mohsin Naqvi said that strict action will be taken against whoever made the wrong statement as this is no way or justification to close the center.
After the arrival of Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi, the staff opened the shutters of the center and started distributing the flour.
Meanwhile, the services and general administration department (S&GAD) issued a notification making the Kasur Assistant Commissioner OSD.
