Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Wednesday informed the public that they do not require the polio vaccination cards of passengers, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The aviation authority issued a notification which stated that no polio vaccination card or certificate is required for the passengers to travel and the public should ignore any offers for getting the card online.
It was stated that the letter seen on various media platforms was an internal correspondence of Islamabad Airport which has been cancelled and the letter was in no way a travel advisory related to polio.
The authority requested the passengers to ask the airline they intend to travel on about the health policy of the respective country and especially the polio vaccination policy.
