Interior Minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) central leader Rana Sanaullah has said that former premier Imran Khan and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan cannot force them into negotiations with a threatening tone, adding that not a single condition of Khan will be accepted if he wants negotiations, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Imran Khan should sit with them unconditionally, declared the interior minister.
While addressing a joint press conference with Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique in Lahore on Saturday, Rana Sanaullah said the government is willing to hold negotiations with PTI in a political manner and can consult on this matter with Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM). He said that real politicians never deny negotiations. He said that Khan never greeted any opposition member during his tenure as a prime minister. He said that it was unfortunate happening that Khan was imposed on the country.
Rana Sanaullah said that Khan is engaged in blackmailing since May 25, 2022. He said that the third party will play role in politics as per the constitution. He mentioned that Khan once missed an important meeting despite being called by the then army chief because of the presence of opposition members in the meeting.
On the other hand, Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique said that abuses and negotiations cannot move side by side. Will Imran Khan take a step back from his fake narrative for the sake of negotiations, he questioned. He said that Khan used to jump the seats to avoid interaction with opposition members.
