Only spouse of deceased employee will get pension, says Punjab govt 

The Punjab government has decided that from now on, only the husband or wife of the deceased government employee will receive the pension, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

In a notification issued by the provincial finance department on Tuesday, now the deceased employee’s children, his or her parents and brothers and sisters would not be entitled to the amount to be given in pension.
