Two suspected robbers were allegedly killed in a police shootout in Lahore, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Tuesday.
According to the police, the incident occurred on Abdul Sattar Edhi Road in Nawab Town where four robbers were fleeing after committing a crime.
The law enforcers went after them, the police said, adding that they shot at the lawmen as soon as they saw the squad.
Two robbers were killed due to the firing of their accomplices, the police said, adding that the hunt for the fugitives. The dead were identified as Sajjad and Zeeshan Ali.
