10 more dog bite cases surface in Kandhkot
Authorities fail to launch culling drive

The incidents of stray dog-bite is on the rise and 10 more cases have been reported in Tangwani area of Kandhkot.
The dog bite victims including children were transferred to Rural Health Centre Tangwani for treatment. The injured were provided requisite attention along with rabies vaccination at the RHC.
Meanwhile, citizens in general and Sindh Taraqi Pasand Party in particular have protested against the rising dog-bite incidents. The STPP leader flayed the officials for turning a blind eye to packs of stray dogs roaming streets of the city. They said the officials failed to initiate any do culling campaign in Tangwani despite having ample budget.
Meanwhile, STPP held a protest against the officials’ apathy to address basic issues of the public. The protest started from Mashallah Hotel and end at General Bus Stand Kandhkot.
The protesters raised slogans against the Tehsil Municipal Authority. They threatened a massive protest if the TMA fails to launch a dog culling campaign and cleaning drive in the city.
