ECP issues arrest warrant for PPP’s MPA on violation of code of conduct

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) Thursday issued an arrest warrant for the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) MPA Ali Ahmed Karim Kundi.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the ECP has declared that the PPP’s legislator in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assembly is constantly violating the code of conduct.
The ECP sent the orders to the District Police Officer (DPO) Dera Ismail Khan to arrest and produce the accused MPA on February 4.
The channel report said that the arrest warrant for the PPP’s MPA issued by the ECP is bailable. He is an elected member from provincial constituency PK-96 DI Khan-II.
