Punjab Education Minister Murad Raas Thursday launched the School Meal Program in selected public schools and termed the project successful as it increased the students’ attendance ratio, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
He thanked the partners who sponsored the free meals for government school students as the program is being implemented as PPP (Public Private Partnership). The ceremony was organized at CDG Primary School Bhabra Ferozepur Road Lahore
Murad Raas said Rs1.5 million was required to provide meals to each public school. Murad Raas said that students’ ratio increased by 33 percent and 77 percent of students health improved.
