Reham Khan, the former wife of prime minister Imran Khan, claimed that two unidentified persons on a motorbike opened fire at her car and tried to stop the vehicle at gunpoint while she was on the way back from her nephew’s marriage, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
An FIR has been lodged in the Shah Sams Police Station, Islamabad in the name of Bilal Azmat, personnel secretary of Reham Khan.
The FIR reads, “The white Prado car was in procession of Rehman Khan the whole day (Sunday). The accused attackers were aged between 25 to 30. I had no enmity against anyone. The only purpose is to terrorize Reham Khan.”
Police said that police teams were in the area and investigating the matter as an FIR has been lodged.
Reham Khan said in a tweet, “I had just changed vehicles. My Personal Secretary (PS) and driver were in the car. This is Imran Khan’s New Pakistan? Welcome to the state of cowards, thugs and the greedy.”

Reham further tweeted, “Allah Malik but I am feeling guilty about those close to me having to go through this. My staff loves me more than family and for them to take these risks and go through personal sacrifice is too disturbing. A lovely family celebration marred by this awful incident. “
Former wife of Imran Khan said she was safe and needed prayers from evil designs of those who are of weak faith.
PPP Senator Sherry Rehman expressed her concerns over the news and replied in the tweet, “Sorry to hear that.”
