The Chief Adviser Curriculum Wing cancelled the results of 650 headmasters after they were found conveniently cheating in the exam held for their promotion by the Punjab Department of School Education, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
According to details, 650 headmasters of (BPS-17) appeared in the exam conducted by School Education Department for their promotion. However, the Provincial Institute for Teacher Education (PITE) had let the headmasters cheat in the exam.
The Chief Advisor Curriculum Wing completed the inquiry and cancelled the results afterwards.
Two deputy directors, PITE director, and officers including Mir Hasan Dahri, Nisar Ahmad Dahri and Farzana Mallah were held responsible.
Secretary of School Education Ghulam Akbar Leghari summoned the three officers on 11th January at 11:30 am for an explanation along with their records.
