Today is the last and third day for filing appeals against the rejection or acceptance of nomination papers of the candidates for the general elections scheduled to be held on February 8, 2024, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
The election appellate tribunals will hear these appeals.
The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), returning officers and others have been made respondents in these appeals.
Earlier, the aspirants for the National Assembly and provincial assemblies’ seats had filed their nomination papers following which the scrutiny of their papers was done.
The scrutiny of papers was completed on December 30, 2023.
